Wildflower Hair Salon is a verified Philocaly Salon – meaning we’ve had a whole lot of extension training.
Hair extensions are not a one size fits all and our certified extension stylists fully customize them to your hair. We love extensions as they can be used as a filler to fill in sides, can be used to customize a colour or add colour/highlighting without colouring your own hair, used for volume or fullness or used for both length and fullness.

A complimentary extension consultation is a requirement and is key before booking in for an extension appointment. During this appointment we colour match/decide on a colour, decide how much hair is needed based on the density of your natural hair, what type/ method is best
suited for your hair and lifestyle. We will also discuss homecare, aftercare, cost and when to book in for maintenance appointments. This is also a great time to ask us any questions you may have.
As stated before extensions are not a one size fits all. This is why our stylists are certified in multiple methods so we can customize the extensions to your hair and lifestyle.
The Push Up Method
Great for a gal on the go as the initial install appointment is slightly quicker than other beaded row methods. Microbeads and thread are used for install

What to expect?
Initial install appointment is 2-2.5 hrs
Install will last 3-4 months with proper care and maintenance before needing to be reinstalled (Push up maintenance appointments every 4-6 weeks)

Push up Maintenance appointments are 30 minute appointments as your stylist just pushes the bead up, hence the Push up Method!
Method is used with handtied or genius wefts- with proper care handtied/genius wefts last 6-8 months
The Flip Up Method
Think maximum length and fullness. Great for fine hair as it’s the most seamless, comfortable and the beads are completely hidden. We use microbeads and hand sew the wefts to the hair. Hands up if you are a bougee gal!
What to expect?
Install appointment for a volume row is 1.5 hours (1 row or base row)
Install appointment for fullness and length 2.5hrs (2 rows)
Full installs every 8-10 weeks
Method is used with handtied or genius wefts – with proper care handtied/genius wefts last 6-8 months
Keratin Tip Extensions
Keratin bonds are lightweight and flexible allowing natural movement. We often use these when wanting to add a little extra fullness around the face as they can be placed higher up on the head without being detected vs other methods. A hot fusion technique is used that has a silicone additive that protect the natural hair strands from damage. Can be installed as a stand alone, to add pops of colour or used as a hybrid method with wefts.
What to expect?
Instal time is approximately 1-1.5 hrs per bag of keratin tips
Bonds can be cut to any size making it difficult to detect where extensions start
Keratin tips are removed with a solution after approx 3 months
Mimic the behaviour of natural hair
Method is used with Keratin tip extensions – new keratin tip extensions will need to be purchased before ever install – keratin tips are not recommended to be reused
Nano Bead Method
Nano extensions add length and volume to the hair without the use of heat or adhesives. They are individual strands applied using micro beads. Nano bead extensions allow the hair to move freely without excess weight added to the hair follicle.
What to expect?
Instal time 45 mins- 1hr per bag
nano bead extensions can be reusable with proper care of the hair
removal and re-instal every 8-10 weeks

Tape in Method
A more budget friendly extension, Faster instal that covers a large area in a short amount of time compared to other methods.
What to expect?
2-3 packs are recommended for a full application
approximately 6 month use out of the hair
removal + re-instal every 8 weeks
hair can not be worn in a high pony tail but can be worn in a low pony tail
